Stacie Bonte & Jeff WeffelmeyerStacie and Jeff have been together for 8 years!! (Give or take ;-). Our first date can be considered as High School Senior Prom on April 30, 2005. After previous attempts, Jeff was able to sneak in the question to the last possible high school dance just in time! An ongoing joke between the two of them relates to Stacie's response of "sure". However, that "sure" has led them to where they are today. Jeff proposed on November 17, 2012 at Beall Mansion in Alton IL. We are looking forward to tying the knot and adding many more memories to our relationship.
About the Bride... Stacie grew up in St. Louis/Fenton area. After High School, Stacie went to William Woods University in Fulton, MO on a soccer scholarship. Stacie also joined Alpha Chi Omega. Upon graduating, Stacie came back to St. Louis and started as an intern and now currently works at Fleishman-Hillard in the MIS department on the SharePoint team. Stacie loves all sports, water skiing, and the sunshine. In her free time she is is found on some sort of court or field (currently playing kickball, soccer, and volleyball) or volunteering on committees for Alpha Chi Omega. She is the middle child... and has a younger sister and older brother who are ALSO getting married this summer. :) Stacie is thankful to have a best friend like Jeff who has stuck by her and always believed in their relationship. She is looking forward to the wedding day and starting the next phase of their life together! About the Groom... Jeff also grew up in Fenton and currently lives in South St. Louis where he eagerly awaits Stacie to join him! Jeff is a St. Louis City Firefighter on Truck 17 and most recently was accepted into the Missouri Task Force on the Urban Search and Rescue team. Being a firefighter, Jeff also has a few other jobs. He is a teacher/instructor for Forest Park, on the ski patrol for Hidden Valley, and does sales with various fire departments. Jeff had played football and went to Lindenwood on a football scholarship until he got the opportunity to start his dream career and got into the city academy. Jeff is ALSO the middle child with a younger sister and older brother. Jeff loved visiting Stacie at William Woods, but glad to have her close. Jeff knew he wanted to be with Stacie early in High School and excited for what's to come! Some of our favorite things to do... EAT!! We are not picky when it comes to eating. Something Jeff first noticed about Stacie: This girl can eat as much as me! Something Stacie noticed about Jeff: There's no holding back on my appetite with this guy! (like I ever would) FACT - Jeff used to cut in the lunch line in front of Stacie for two reasons 1) To talk to Stacie since they didn't have any classes together 2) To get closer to the food Lake of the Ozarks trips - Boating, Swimming, Fishing, Drinking. Both of our parents own lake homes so we will be found here often! Stacie is a big water skier... One thing she wanted in a guy: He doesn't have to be able to ski, but he sure better be able to drive the boat! Biking - Jeff bought Stacie her first real bike two Christmas's ago. Snow Skiing - Jeff is also on Ski Patrol at Hidden Valley Scuba Diving - They both have their scuba diving license and went on their first trip to Cozumel last March! They are looking forward to scuba diving on their honeymoon in St. Lucia Play Kickball much much more..... |
